TRREB market statistics reported 9,017 sales in the GTA for November 2021, setting a new record for sales in November.
This November also beat the record for average selling price with $1.16 million – up by 22 percent year-over-year. The annual growth rates for detached, semi-detached, and townhouse in the 905 area all exceeded 30 percent.
The number of newly listed homes during the month was 10,036 – a 13 percent drop from November 2020.
Meanwhile, the number of active listings at the end of the month had more than halved from last November.
As the GTA remains the No.1 choice for new immigrants, the supply issue seems to stay for a while.
