In June 2026, new low-rise home sales in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) exceeded the ten-year average for the third consecutive month. A total of 1,175 new homes were sold in June, representing a significant rebound from the record low level in June 2025. Of these, 273 were condominium apartments, 85% below the ten-year average. Sales of new single-family homes totaled 902 units, showing a strong year-over-year increase and finishing 36% above the ten-year average.

The benchmark price for new condominium apartments in June was approximately $1.04 million, remaining near its price floor. Meanwhile, the benchmark price for new single-family homes was approximately $1.28 million, reflecting a 15.5% year-over-year decline.

In addition, the remaining inventory of new homes stood at 18,888 units, including 12,579 condominium apartment units and 6,309 single-family home units.
