Resale Home Market in the City of Toronto (December 2023)
In December, the average selling price for detached in Toronto was $1.63 million, marking a year-on-year decrease of 0.1%, but there was a 0.6% increase compared to the previous month. Condo town and condo apart had average selling prices of $930k and $710k, respectively. Condo town saw an 19.5% year-on-year increase, while condo apart experienced a 4.4% decrease compared to last year.
Sales of both detached and semi-detached houses saw a decrease of approximately 20% compared to November of this year. Sales ratios for various property types all hovered above 60%, with Semi-Detached reaching 154%. Additionally, the quantity of available housing inventory in the market showed varying degrees of decrease compared to November of the previous year.
